Business & Requirements Analysis Document / Training Plan

HiSoftware will provide a business and requirements analysis document which will include a combination of business requirements, system architecture designs, assessment reports, status reports, test plans and strategies, project management forms, end user and maintenance documents as deemed necessary by your organization. Additionally, project plans will be created to serve as a baseline against which to measure progress and to understand what corrective actions the management team will need to take.

In conjunction with the development of the requirements document, a comprehensive training plan will be created to facilitate scheduling activities, HiSoftware will work with your trainers and designated personnel to develop a training schedule and protocol per your requirements.

Identify & Assess

HiSoftware will work with your staff to train organizations in the use of AccVerify and AccRepair. Additionally, HiSoftware will work with your staff to identify and report departmental Web sites, intranets, or extranets requiring remediation. HiSoftware will also work with your staff to use AccVerify and AccRepair to assess and report Section 508 Standards violations and determine the tasks required to achieve Section 508 conformity. HiSoftware will conduct an automated Internet & intranet analysis to ascertain the scope of conversion to accomplish conformity. This assessment will cover total pages, media type(s) and any “special” circumstances.

HiSoftware will prepare a detailed project schedule with prioritization of the work to be done, resource allocations, specific milestones & dates. The project management plan will include the schedule, define risks, recommend a change control and configuration management methodology, as well as a method for issue handling and resolution tracking. The plan will also cover the generation and distribution of secure progress reports configurable to match the specific requirements of each organizational component.

Correct

HiSoftware will provide technical assistance in correcting and reporting of all Section 508 violations through a combination of automated correction and manual intervention to achieve compliance with the Access Board Section 508 EIT standards through the use of AccVerify and AccRepair, and HiSoftware consulting services.

Test & Deploy

HiSoftware will provide technical assistance in thoroughly testing each remediated Web site or component prior to deployment of your organizations Section 508 compliant applications.  Based on feedback from a limited number of identified users who serve as testers, HiSoftware will fine tune the Section 508 compliance solution (if needed) and assist your organization in any migration with or from existing systems. Additionally, HiSoftware will maintain an ongoing list of problems and risks associated with the project. Focus will be on risk analysis and risk mitigation, which will be documented and provided to the responsible Section 508 Coordinator for the organization for which testing is being conducted.

Ongoing Compliance & Maintenance

Throughout the course of the project, HiSoftware will provide extensive knowledge transfer to your organizational technical support staff throughout the project to ensure incorporation of Section 508 compliant development methodologies and standards going forward as a part of all future organizational application solutions.
